I ran across this one on-line..
Trail-lite is built by R-Vision and I hear they are very dependable units.. this one sounds like a pretty good bargain...Low mileage..and not too expensive..

Thanks for the great welcome!
Looks like the Roadtrek on Cape Cod was snatched right out from under me! Seems like what we had there was a FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE!

But. . . all may not be lost. . . looks like there is a really nice one (newer = more spendy) in CA where we just so happen to be going to a guitar show. The soon to be ex SO will be with me and he's an ace mechanic so he'll be able to check it out before I pound down the fundage.
After 23 years together (only actually married for 2 years of that) we are finally going our separate ways. As soon as we sell this estate in Montana (prolly by the first of the year) I'm gonna put everything (after the big purge) into storage and head out to "Look for America!" He's gonna move his shop and live in it.
I'm gonna ski at every conceivable ski area in Canada and the US and *IF* I find the right place I might buy a small place. . . but. . . if I don't I'll just keep campin', hikin', kayakin', skiin' and bikin'!
I've done a lot of adventure travel and I've been homeless (lived on the technical rock climbing rescue team in Yosemite for years) so this won't be too hard to get used to.
Don't get me wrong. . . I get a little scared when I think about not having a home base. . . but. . . it's time to purge all the shee that one collects over 57 years and get out there and keep the magic alive!
Any advice/ideas/gatherings/events ya'll come up with would be much appreciated!

Hi Ekat, I looked very seriously at the RoadTrek when I bought - it was just a tad too small for what I wanted - but I really liked them for many features and if I was in the market for that size - would definitely feel good about them. I'm a believer in buying used from private parties - just checking everything out first. Hopefully they work out all the bugs first :) - but I even looked at new Roadtreks.
Sorry about you and the mate - good luck to you and the travels. One thing I don't remember - is how well insulated the Roadtrek is - cuz it sounds like you'll be wanting to use it in cold weather. Make sure you check that out about them.

eKat, I think you have a wonderful future planned with the thought of campin', hikin', kayakin', bikin' and skiing, What fun is all that!!! Woweee!
You'll have a home base my dear....you'll just change it's location as you go from each hikin', bikin' etc. enjoyment to another! Your back yard can change as the mood and the need strikes you!!! :)

Hi, ekat! I had a Roadtrek 200 Poplar last year and it was the most awesome little MH imaginable. Everything you need is there, with scads of storage space. My model had two back twin beds that could be made into a one large bed. It had a frig, sink, bathroom, TV, DVD player, wardrobe, etc...in fact, it was a super convenient traveler that only used about 15 MPG ( it was old).
I only went larger because of my large dog and large grandson. For one, that is a super camper.
