I'm another Carole except it is my middle name. I am a transplanted Texan. Born in Wichita Falls and now live in South Louisiana.
I have been to the Canton Flea Market 5 or 6 times. It is a lot of fun if it is not too hot, cold or raining. You can camp on the grounds or near by.

Thanks, Winnie&Minnie! I had a Roadtrek, and know the advantages of the smaller size. Where in Texas are you? Hope you have learned as much as I have in this group- they are great!!

Welcome Carole,
I too am single with dog. I travel in my Roadtrek. Planning a two week trip to "do Alabama" the end of March, early April. This summer a big trip west is planned with my sister-in-law. The Roadtrek is a little crowded when grandson, friend or SIL is along, but most of the time in it is spent driving or sleeping. Once camped, we take advantage of the spacious outdoors, hiking with dog, lounging with book. See you down the road, Liz and Roe (dog) '99 Roadtrek 170

Liz,
Don't forget to let us know if you head to Alabama. Since there are a few of us here we would love the opportunity to meet up with you. At least I know I would. Just give a holler.

Howdy Carole...and a hearty welcome to "Our Forum".. So good to have you....Yup! I'm another Texan...We are west of Houston...in Bellville.
We're going to Canton in June...I think it is..they have a Bluegrass Festival there at the Civic Center.. It is mid-month...so we won't make the First Monday Sales, unless we stick around for a couple of weeks..
For those of you who haven't been to First Monday....is a spectacular sale to behold, and held the first Monday (and weekend before) of every month...
Welcome all you new gals... Make yourself at home and keep posting...we LOVE hearing from y'all and learning more about you!!! :)
Happy RVing!!! Joella

Hey all fellow Texans! Maybe we should think about a Texas GTG one of these Springs or Falls. I hope you all are going to the Tennessee GTG in April. I would love to meet you all. Carole

Carole welcome to the Forum. I am in Florida, usually travel as far west as Illinois and north as far as Michigan and all points in between.
If you are in Florida again yell out would love to meet you.
I too am single, bought my first MH a little over 2 years ago and love it. Will be heading down to meet the Groovin Grannies this weekend in Wildwood, Florida.
I always enjoy my trips in the motorhome, meeting new people, seeing new places.
Great to have you with us. Nan 2003 Forest River Lexington 23 feet

LOL Carole - the TN get together is with another forum/group.
But the idea for a TX gtg would be great. Some springs and falls I'd even be able to be there (until this fall - was in TX the previous 2 years in early Nov). Smiling is contagious - try it!
