Hi Laura, We have alot in common...WA is my home State, used to live in Puyallup and pretty much all over the Pacific Northwest. Go home there to visit my family every Summer. We mostly now camp over by Fall City & Monroe. We also have 3 cats...all Males...boy I'm out numbered in our RV. Biff Houdini ( yes he knows how to escape) Felix the Cat and Sasha Mio. Sasha Mio was born in Snoqualmie at the Cascade Thousand Trails Park where I used to be a Ranger at. Hubby is Dan. We started out with a 18 ft Nomad Trailer, now we are on our 4th RV which is a Alfa SeeYa Class A 40 ft. We Full-Time in ours.
We'll have to look ya up before we head to Alaska next Summer. Where do you camp in the Northwest in WA? We do not camp there anymore in the Winter...the latest storms is the biggest reason and bought a lot in The Foothills in Yuma AZ to keep toasty warm and give my Arthritis a break. Hey SeeYa, we just went winter camping out at Ocean Shores at the state park there. I have arthritis too (only 42!) but thankfully, the furnace works just fine, plus they have full hookups out there.
I'm across Puget Sound from Seattle so I don't get over to the Cascades much. We generally camp all over western WA, though. Maybe we'll cross paths someday. One hubby Three cats Umpteen sheep 26' Skyline Nomad

Hi Laura, I know we've already met in another thread, but I was remiss and didn't greet you here. Please forgive me.
This room was added not long ago (a great idea) but I just can't get my self into a new habit of checking it. Slappin myself.
So glad to have you with us - you've fit right in and you've found a great bunch to chat with. Smiling is contagious - try it!

Last time we were in Ocean Shores was over the 4th of July. I just love watching everyone shoot off fireworks from the beach. Haven't stayed at the State Park there, we were over at the Western Horizons park or parked in our Cousins driveway when we are there. Took us almost 2 hrs to get through Aberdeen last July! Have to remember to stick around a couple extra days till after the weekend rush has gone home! Seeya down the road Seeya_Gal

I too am new to this forum. I'm not new to camping and traveling. I have been married 32 years. I spent 6 years in the Navy and he spent 20years in the Navy. We traveled on long trips during his career by taking the 30 day vacations all in one lump. I've been working on my husband to get into full-timing. I believe he is getting more use to the idea. So I'm a fulltimer wannabe. I was so excited when I found this forum. It's great to get to know other gals who love to travel as much as I. We're up here in the frozen north. North Central Minnesota. It was -20 last week. We're in a heat wave now it is + 19 degrees today. Susan 91 35" Journey

Hi Susan and Welcome! I too was in the Navy. A Yeoman for 12 years, then got out when I got pregnant with my daughter. So did the next best thing and joined the Civil Service side of Government. Nice because I can use my military time toward my retirement time. 32 years of marriage - Well that is mighty impressive! Stay warm and again glad you found the site. I have to have my girl get together fix every day by visiting this forum. If I don't get on for a day or two I feel like I'm missing something. And normally it's a great story, pictures, or a funny.

Hello Susan and welcome to the forum. I haven't been here long, but this is the place to be if you have questions or would just like to talk. We are from all over and some have been at fulltiming than others and some are like me, a wannabe. Have fun while you are here. Welcome, Susan, don't we have another Minnehootan around, the one who was complaining about there not being enough used RV's for her to look at in her neck of the woods? 1984 Class A Allegro(Miss Piggy) Jean the Scot Bogie the Pit (rescued) Shona the Calico Cat

Hummmmm - I guess that'd be me, Sparkle - LOL
I'm taking a road trip to Texas in a few weeks and I'm going to look along the way. There are plenty of new MHs here in Minnesota, the used ones are harder to find. I think they all froze to the ground.
Welcome, Susan - I'm in a southern suburb of the Twin Cities. And yes, getting out of that below zero weather has been a relief. Sandy and Bella (da dog)
