Hi Ladies,

I recently purchased my first RV in December 2009. It is a Cougar 5th wheel.

I still work full time, but look forward to RVing full time in about 3 years when I retire.

Happy to find this forum and get to know all of you. I have joined your Facebook group.

Well, I have spent a total of two weekends in my driveway trying to learn the in's and out's before going to a campground.

I was suppose to make my maiden voyage this weekend, but had to cancel at last minute. While getting reading to leave, I hurt my back lifting a chair. I have been on my back since 2:00 pm Friday afternoon. I was so disappointed. Oh well. I am planning on trying to make it another trip the last weekend of March.

Hi Carolyn! Welcome to our Forum, just so happy to have you join us!

Believe it or not, having your fiver in your drive is the best place for it to be right now. You can go sit out in it and just chill out and get the feel of being footloose and fancy free. Our motorhome is always here on our place, and I just get a good feeling going out and sitting in it.

Good you joined our Facebook too. Just glad you did.

I'm sure sorry to hear you got your back all out of kilter, and just when you were going to take your maiden voyage in your new fiver to!! Doggone! Such a bummer.

Know you are looking forward to full-timing in three years.

I hope your back improves quickly and you can get all excited about your trip the end of March.

PS Carolyn only lives about 50 or 60 miles from me. I see a mini GTG coming. She also joined the Ramblin Roses so we will be able to travel together to the rallies.

Welcome Carolyn!

Congratulations on your new rig. You are gonna love this lifestyle :)

A word of caution though. The Ramblin Roses love to eat! lol And Martha is a huge contributor to our wastelines with her decadent pralines. She even makes mine chocolate! ;) And then there is Vicki, with her fudge and Joella with her cake balls. hahaha!!!

There are lots of women with 5er's too to help you and answer any questions you may have. We even have our own RVIA tech amongst us. Lookin forward to meeting you at a rally soon! :)

Congratulations on your new doll house! Please come and join the Ramblin' Roses on one of our rallies. I joined about a year ago and have tried not to miss a single GTG. Wonderful group of women who do eat as Sharon mentioned. I've learned a lot through the RVW and the Roses as well and feel I'm much better at not only managing my RV but maintaining it was well.
