Hi Jean I dont think you'll have to worry about being lonely..I have 2 sisters/friends who purchased a new Class C last year and they tell me the people they meet on the road are friendly and anxious to help out with us "newbies". I dont have any pets but Im thinking about a small dog, as Ive only had dogs in the past..that will help and you'll be fine. Judiann Happy Trails
