Hi Women RVer's.... Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Kay and I just bought a travel trailer, Keystone, VR1. I had intended to buy used, but fell in love with the VR1 and I got a pretty good deal.
It's my hope to full time eventually, but right now I'm still working full time and only have vacations to travel. Besides, I don't have a tow vehicle yet.
The dealership is going to deliver my TT to KY River Campground and I'll enjoy it many weekends this summer.
I have some experience rv'ing. My fiance and I had a conversion van we used for a while. And my ex-husband and I had a truck camper YEARS ago.... But he and I never used the bathroom at all!! I had another friend who owned a Class A. It was comfortable, but I didn't want to invest that much money right now.

Hi Kay, and WELCOME!! So happy to have you join us, and Thanks for posting.
Congratulations on the acquisition of your trailer! How handy to have it set up in the campground for ready use on some weekends!
We have a trailer, as well--- a Jayco Eagle. We have been RVing many years, and have had all kinds of RVs. All have their special little perks to offer, but the most important---and to me a wonderful feeling, I walk into that trailer and a sense of relaxation and well-being cloaks me. I am away from the cares of the world. It seems to be my "hidy hole" :)
Please come back and post more about yourself, so we can get to know you. We love and appreciate our Newbies!!

Welcome Karen, enjoy your trailer this summer. Like Joella said, it is a place to get away from it all. Welcome to the forum.
I have a motorhome that is sitting in my driveway and gives me "lets go play" looks everytime I walk by it! Sue Paradise has far more to do with the person than the place

Kay Welcome! This is the most amazing group of women! I'm fairly new here myself and they are just incredible. Joella's comments about feeling relaxed in her trailer meet my sentiments exactly. And years ago, my parents used to spend nights in their trailer, parked in the driveway, whenever the world felt as if it were crashing down on them. I'm sure you'll feel the same way! Enjoy it!
