Hi, let me introduce myself. I kind of butted in on the chat room a couple of nights ago. Everyone was so friendly. My name is Debbie. I live in Southwest Colorado. I am married with 2 kids; a son who is 16 and a daughter who is 10. I have a small travel trailer that my daughter and I go out in. (My husband says camping is too much work, so he and my son stay home usually) We stay mostly within a two hour radius of home. Although that gives us an immense variety. Within two hours we can be in the desert of Utah around Moab or in the mountains around Ouray and Silverton. We don't take our animals with us but, we have a cat named Iris and a beagle named Snoopy. I work as a bookkeeper for a small local government entity. I have been reading this forum for many moons and decided it was time to join. I wondered if you can change your screen name after you have already set it up. I chose Cookiemama, but I think it may sound suggestive or weird and was hoping to change it to Cookiemom. Maybe someone knows how I can do this?? Thanks,
Debbie

Hi Debbie! I'm so glad you joined us, came on chat and posted here!! You are so very welcome and we are happy to have you!!
I'd like to have your Birthday (month and date only) for our Birthday List, if you don't mind.
Yes, you can change your screen name. Our Moderator can do that for you. E-mail him on Monday. Look at the top left of your post and see Moderated by RVA. click on the RVA to e-mail him.
You do have different kinds of scenery to camp in. I particularly love the mountains. We use to run away from our business for a week, and could quickly be in the cooler mountains of Ouray and Silverton-- and we went there often through the years. I love that area!
Thanks so much for joining and for being such an active new member. Keep on coming back, often!
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for letting me know how to change my screen name. I use "2cookiemonsters" for when my daughter and I geocache and probably should have stayed with something more along those lines.

Welcome, Debbie -
Having "Cookie" in your screen name is a winner with this bunch!
What great memories you are piling up with your daughter! Good for you. You may find that the menfolk get a bit envious and want to join you after awhile!
Joella is so right - you have one of the prettiest areas for travel!

Hi, Debbie and welcome! I think my son ice climbs in Ouray. He's traveled from Fairbanks, Alaska to climb a couple years ago and then he moved to Ohio and last winter went back, again. He's military so he gets moved allot. He's now in California and since a mountain bike accident last August that broke his left wrist and right elbow, he's thinking of a vacation on the sunny beaches of the CA coast! lol

Hey Lenora, ask Debbie about geocaching !! I see in her post she does that and you were asking about it ! A perfect match :D (I'm sure I spelled geocaching wrong - sorry :D ) Trudy, Molly & Murphy 37' Montana 5th wheel - "be the kind of person your dog thinks you are"

Hi Debbie and welcome!! What a diverse group we are (or should that be a motley crew LOL?)! I agree, your daughter is so lucky to be able to go exploring with you. Just think about the 'photos' she is storing up in her young head...:)
jan I care very little about where I am going, so how can I be lost?
