I just joined the forum & saw your post about Ramblin'Roses. I just got back from the RVW national convention; it was my first gathering with them & it was great fun. Ramblin' Roses is the TX chapter of RVW. I've now joined that chapter & we're having an event Nov. 13-16 at North Shore RV Park at Onalaska on the north side of Lake Livingston. You can get info on the website; come join us! Liz & Jack(4 legged)

Made my first RV trip and it went very well. We had to postpone Livingston because of the hurricane (I spent that night in the RV because my now homeless brother & wife were in my bedroom)and the following week we were without power but I left on a previously scheduled cruise (out of Bayport since Galveston no longer was available!). When we got home on Thursday my friend and I immediately scheduled an RV trip and left on Sunday. Her husband was great and showed me how to hook everything up and it was a wonderful few days. Now I've joined Ramblin' Roses and reserved a space for the meeting in Livingston Nov. 13 - 16. Sounds like there is some good stuff coming up. Vicki

I put this on another thread..but things have changed lately and we have four gals from our Forum attending the Ramblin' Roses Rally and I'll be joining y'all for a short visit. Will drive up in the car on Friday the 14th and visit for a couple of hours.
I am so looking forward to seeing everyone..
