Welcome to the forum. I have been full timing for 2 years also. I have a Class C but in May of 08 I put the thing in storage and took off in my car for the Pacific Northwest. I stayed June in Washington State and July in Montana. I want to relocate there when I am eligible for Medicare. I retired at 62 and sold my home and a condo and bought my 1997 Class C Cash. The CGs have gotten more expensive. Everything has gotten more expensive. I am at a CG in Columbia, Ms right now. I escaped damage from Gustav, I was living at a KOA in Denham Springs, east of Baton Rouge, La. I love living in my small space. I am alone and I like being to myself right now. I named my Class C Cocoon. I am supposed to be turning into a butterfly. (Losing Weight, recuperating from 40 years of working and raising my family.) Welcome again. OB44

Thank you all for your welcome. Nice to talk to ladies that have the same interest. When I bought the Class A I was going to do 6 months (summers) in Montana and winters in Florida. My job would let me do that and I have a few years before SS. But because of illness in the family here, have remained in Florida. I have family in Western Montana also Missoula area and it's very nice. After living 30 years in Florida in a house I guess the Gypsy spirit is getting into me.I haven't put a name to my "A" yet though after some of the problems I have had the past few weeks with it. I do have some choice names that come off the top of my head right now. Anyway sorry to go on. Thanks again for the welcome. Hatred is not a family value

Soolag, welcome to the forum. Great people here and good place for questions, sharing and just plain fun.
I'll bet most of us could add a few names to your list. ;p
My DH and I lived in FL (Tampa) for the last 32 years (I'm originally from Miami). We have fulltimed for the last 3 years since we retired and are spending this winter in Sarasota. We have been in Tampa for the last 6 weeks helping out with my MIL-not planned, but you do what you have to. Love Montana-good luck on your plans. carold

soolag, welcome to the forum. You are getting all kinds of stars in the heavens helping with sick family. Keep the gas tank full and the batteries charged and your rig pointed west! Will help your mental outlook. ;)
Again, welcome. Sue

Welcome Soolag. I was a newbie until 2 wknds ago. I'm going to start a new discussion and share my RV experience. Bottom line...I loved it. I share your sentiments and am currently downsizing from a 4-bdrm, 2 story home...whew! in the process of selling it. I've raised a family & 2 husbands, am currently single and ready to enjoy some "me" time. I'm about to make the transition to full time RVing (Class C).
Nice to meet you, and again welcome.
Take care, J.

Molly, are you traveling single handedly in the 5th wheeler? I am so impressed with all you ladies who are RVing solo & am so encouraged. Wow!
I happen to come across the discussin about the banners that were made called "RV Women". I've definitely got to get one.
J.
