LOL You have been bitten by the RV bug! I have yet to buy my RV but love this forum and the ladies. You will be pestered from us for pictures of all the decorating and remodeling you are doing, too. We get ideas from each other. The hardwood floors seems to be what all the gals are wanting and some have put it in their rigs, too, and are enjoying it. Keep us updated! Lenora & Choco

Welcome! Love your furbabies - soooooo cute! Wish my Labs would let me dress them up. Once tried boots on Sassy cause she doesn't like getting her feet wet. You should have seen her trying to walk on the two feet that didn't have a boot on. Took her about 30 seconds to get them off. Congrats on a good older rig - some of the older ones are better built than the new ones. Glad to hear I'm not the only one painting the interior. My cabinets were an orangey color and I'm painting them taupe. Had the carpet taken out, too. Ask us anything - no question too dumb - we've all asked some dooseys. Don't know where you're from but we're trying for a GTG in November in San Antonio Texas.

those furLESS babies are so so cute, I just can't get over it. They will certainly keep you company when you take off on your own in the rv. I'd be in seventh heaven with a rig like yours but alas I've a fifth wheel with NO truck so I'm sorta staying put right now cause I don't want to hurt my muscles pushing this down the road :) But I do have plans for the retirement future and the day will come. I'm in SC. I don't know what a GTG is, but I love TX. Until gas comes down or income goes up, sadly it would be too far. We were planning a month in November to Fl west coast. I lived in Ft Walton Bch & really want to go back this fall/winter. Where would I post a question about towing a car behind my RV? I'm sure there old posts on this, but I can't find any. And thanks for the warm welcome. Glad to know I'm not the only one remodeling my RV. LOL!

Micki, Move to Open Talk and post any question you wish.
GTG is a Rally... a "get together"..
Perhaps one day you will be able to make one. If you go to Florida this winter, I'm fairly certain the girls there will have one. Some live there, some winter there.
Karen, I bought a sweater for one of our dachshunds in years past...and he came back in without it. I found it hooked to the barb wire fence. I commiserated with Dutch about getting hung up on the fence and put it back on him. I watched as he marched back over to the fence...sidled back and forth till he got the sweater hung on the fence barb...and backed right out of it!!! :) That' what he thought of his new sweater!!! Grin..
Happy RVing all!

Welcome Micki!
You are right to want to learn about your rv. Every woman who travels with a husband should know the ins and outs of her rig as well as be able to drive it comfortably. Good for you for getting started on that!
Be sure to post some pics, and of your dogs too, they sound interesting! Cedar Adirondack Mts. in NY '02 Ford Escape '04 Chalet Arrowhead (C-->)

Hello and welcome. I am pretty new too. I am debating between Florida or Tx. for travel but with gas, Florida probably will win out. I am in Tn so closer. In September there is a gtg in S.C. Posted on the womens rv group. I read where you may go to two of this groups gtg without having to join. Off The Edge&Round The Bend.. julaine & critters

Thanks for the warm welcome! Wow, I'm surprised some of you are so close to me. I would love to find out more about the GTG in Sept. Don't know if I can go but more like more info just in case. Do they allow dogs?
