Joyce, here's a Oregon State Park website with yurts..
http://www.oregon.gov/OPRD/PARKS/rustic.shtml
I did a Google Search on State park yurts, and came up with lots of websites..
Good luck on your search...

Yurts are fine. Most of the parks that have yurts have just the basic as you said, but some have more amenities, but they cost more to use. Often you have to make reservations a long time ahead, so check before leaving. It can be done on line.

A yurt is a semi- permanent tent like structure. It is like a large tent covered with a waterproof canvas. Similarly constructed like the kind of tent one would rent for a wedding. It is dome shaped and can be as basic as a tent or as luxurious as a hotel room.
I have some friends who lived in a turt for several years while building their house. They had plumbing, electricity, and a wood stove for heat.
It might be a good way to start if you have never done any basic tent camping. Danar- Of the North
