Yes I got the photo's thanks :) I haven't heard from my friends who went down there yet. Hope to hear all about it soon. I saw a photo of the roads where one of my friends had a camper and the road was really REALLY narrow! The rest of my friends have 40 ft RV's down there!

Oh yes I remember the Mexicans LOVE Spring break and they all head down to the beaches. I was surprised my internet dish worked great in Mexico but too low of a signal in Alaska for the internet. Dan and I used to go to the internet cafe's in Mexico before we got the tri-pod satellite. I was just talking to the neighbor's saying I haven't done any crafting because I'm on the computer so much! The days I did not use the computer so much were the days I'd craft for hours!! LOL

Hi Jayne and welcome.
You're the first person I'm hearing say they like mainland better than Baja - but it might also have to do with you speak the language, etc - and other than now (during Spring Break) Baja is so much snowbirds that it almost could be US - and many of us are more comfortable with that.
Seeya, your friends who do the seminars say most of the roads are great in Baja now - only a stretch at the southern end that is narrow enough for some to be nailbiters - and at the far northern end, where you have a choice of 2 ways - one isn't so good right now. But most, according to them have been redone very well. They obviously love Baja - as they prefer going there most years.
Jayne, I'm hoping to go to Baja next Jan-Feb or Feb-Mar - but it sounds like you won't be there any more by then. If you are - would love to meet. --------------------------- Once your reputation is ruined, you can live life quite freely :) (old German saying)
