Hi Ladies,
I was wondering what you all use as bedding for your rear sofa.
I was thinking about a pretty queen sized sleeping bag opposed to sheets and a comforter. Something I can roll up during the day and just take out and wash as needed.
I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions, Sharon 2007 RoadTrek SS-Agile

I have friends who have a smaller motorhome--and they use sleeping bags for nights. They roll them up and store them days. Faster and simpler than trying to make a bed with sheets, blankets and all that work-causing stuff!! :)
She rolls her sleeping bag like a long round pillow and it stays on one end of the couch, since it is color coordinated with the RV and makes a decorative addition, taking NO extra storage space.
So you had a Great thought in a sleeping bag!
Happy RVing..

Sharon, I purchased 2 full size comforters, folded them, sewed the bottom only together. Same with sheets, put the sheet inside the comforters, Now I have one and my friend has one, Cheaper and prettier than sleeping bag, and smaller to wash, You can either put the fold in the middle or on the outside, your choice. But, nobody can hog all the cover!!!! I roll them up and put a bungie cord around them to hold and store. Hope 2 meet U!

Another idea you can check out is the "Travasack" which is sold by Camping World. This is sort of a sleeping bag with sheets that are attached by velcro, so they stay in place but are easy to wash. This also has a thick side for winter and a thinner side for summer.
I used that idea for my grandson's sleeping bag. I attached velcro to a sheet and to the bag, and set up his bed with the bag fully opened and the top sheet. It worked great! Carole

Thanks Carol for yet another great idea! You ladies are awesome!
I bought a fleece sleeping bag for now. I folded it in thirds and put it in a pillow sham. I put my pillow in a sham and placed them on either end of the couch for the day.
It looks cozy, but I'll see how it works out this weekend on my maiden voyage! I really like the idea of sheets inside it though. That is on my list.
Thanks again, Sharon

Just got a 2003 Dodge Ram Roadtrek 170 Popular and haven't decided if I'm going to leave the bed set up all the time or not. . . I really like it when it's set up like a couch - seems roomier. . . gonna take the FallColorsSolo with it couch like and will make up the bed every night. . . so. . . I'll be taking a jersey knit bottom sheet (Lands' End) and a Black Forest Bedding down comforter in a jersey knit cover (Lands' End) and will roll it all up and stow it in the TV cabinet - since the TV is the FIRST THING I'm rippin' out of this puppy. Haven't lived in a house with incoming TV signal since 1973 - no need to have one in a peensie Class B motorhome, if you know what I mean.
AND. . . if. . . on this trip I decide that I will want, in the future, to just leave the bed set up, I will undoubtedly take all the upholstered cushions out and store them at home - and just leave the Therapedic (?) foam mattress (that came with it - seller had it set up as a bed all the time) and use the same jersey knit bottom sheet and comforter in a cover. (Hate using the term duvet since nobody can agree what it really means)
Leaving the bed set up all the time sure makes storing the bedding easier!
:-)
But. . . when I'm working at the computer, I think I'm gonna wanna sit at the couch/table.
But. . . we'll see. . . heck. . . I've driven this thing 1200 miles but have never stayed in it yet . . . so this FallColorsSolo is going to be a real shake down cruise!
Keep the MAGIC alive!
