Hello everyone! My husband and I are going to be purchasing a new travel trailer in the next couple of days. We are going to be living in it for a period of time because we're moving. I tried to get safety and overall ratings for t.t. on the internet and can't seem to find anything. We have a child and two small dogs and so I know we need a bunkhouse and a queen bed and probably a 29' or 30' but other than that I'm lost. We're thinking slightly used so we wouldn't have alot of upkeep but other than that I'm clueless. Does anybody have any tips, I would appreciate it greatly! There are so many it's overwhelming. Jodi

Hi Jodi. www.rvconsumer.org is a great site which rates RVs for safety. I highly recommend you subscribe; it will give you a wealth of information about any unit you are considering. Leslie

welcome to the group what are you going to be pulling your tt with? You have to make sure your vehicle can pull it safely. The salesmans isn't going to be honest with you there they just want to make the sale. I have a 5th wheel 29' and its just me and two small dogs. Plenty of room if I decide to take a grandson on a weekend. For the time being, I'm settled into a retirement park until I get a truck. Good luck in your search and do lots of research, some of the forums have libraries you can look up stuff about towing.
