Gerry Mac, I'm glad to hear things are progressing. In any relationship there has to be that give and take and discussion. He's listening to you - and you are to him - and that's wonderful.
I hope he comes to understand that most of what he feels he needs is what other people project on him (unfortunately). I was corporate America also - and am constantly being asked "how can you give it all up?" And I ask - "just what did I give up?" Believe it or not - most who ask it are jealous because they are to scared to even try something like this.
Make sure on your trips that you talk to some of the others who are full-timing or at least long-timers. Your husband will realize many of them are just like him.
Good luck to you both. Smiling is contagious - try it!

Hi Bethers, Thank you for your post. What you had to say really touched a cord with me. What stood out about it was the parts about being scared, about other people projecting their expectations on you and in the end what do we really give up.
These are the main issues we are dealing with right now. It's comforting to know that others before us have dealt with them and come to terms with them all.
It uplifts and excites me knowing that my wanting to be a fulltime RVing is not a crazy idea. Talking to others solidifies my resolve to become one of you.
Thanks again for your imput.
Sincerely, GerryMac

Marysdream had it right. You don't need a million dollar rig to enjoy a million dollar view! I have one of those 7000.00 dollar rigs, and have been fulltiming in it for a year now. I think the photos I've posted can attest to the fact the views are out there. I don't need an RV that is the envy of all those around me, and when I see one of them I don't envy them. Start stashing away a few dollars a week and in no time you'll be out on the road. And maybe once you start taking those little trips hubby will get the itch to keep going.
