and I would have to say not a heck of a lot!!!

survived Pow Pow and since then have done as little as possible

and my house shows it...so need to buckle down and utilize those moments

or hours when they come my way...but when they do I just sit back and pet the dog!!

waiting for the mail to come..why is that when you really need it cause your tags on your license

need replaced...it takes forever to get here...typically 2 days I wasn't sure when the mail was sent and had to go to the post office anyway so asked if it had arrived nope that was on Friday ...so later that night I e-mailed the service and asked when it was sent which was on Thurs I believe so ok understand why it wasn't there...so go in on Monday it will be there for sure Nope not but the mail sent on the 2nd of Feb was...normally would have waited but it was tax information and the rest of it was in the mail that was sent and had arrived so today I call and she tracks it it's in Pheonix at what ever time that was so didn't go to the post office will tomorrow then make waves if I don't have a call to the window card as it's too big to put in the box...

they bribe you to come in and pay your electric bill by having a free breakfast so have to get up and take Shadow for a ealier walk then off to pay the bill and have breakfast

and can't complain about the weather!!! its warmed up and is so nice...enjoying it so much make a good day tomorrow to dump the tanks not that I really want to but some things have to be done rather one wants to ro not

one day soon need to head down to MX and do the dentist trip not really looking forward to that at all

well you all take care

Hi Sheila - Here we are again - just the few of us. LOL
When you go to MX for dental, will you take someone with you?
Glad you are enjoying the good weather. We had a beautiful day today but it's supposed to rain in the next day or so and the last few days have been overcast and cold.

I'm still here, too. Had a 91-yr-old friend call at 3:00 a.m. one day last week. She thought she had a heart attack and had dialed 911 and needed me to go over and let them in because I knew where her hide-a-key was. It wasn't a heart attack, but the heart doc says he thinks a TIA (mini stroke) and couldn't figure why she was so weak and couldn't stand on her own. They wouldn't release her unless she could stand/walk 'cuz she lives alone. Four days later the hospital transferred her to a rehab facility for a week. Since her son and DIL decided to go ahead with their camping trip whle she was in the hospital, I was doing all the errands, etc. Didn't get to check here very often.

Next week I'm heading to Chula Vista (just south of San Diego) for 4 days with my camping club. Decided to ask my son if he wanted to come along because the older I get, the more apprehensive I am about driving on strange highways alone. I prefer to follow friends, etc. He said yes, so it will be a bit cramped what with 2 adults, 1 cat and a very large dog, but we usually get along surprisingly well whenever we do this. Besides, I'm hoping we will be spending most of our time outside. Here's hoping all the cold and wet weather they are predicting will be long gone by then.

Evie - So good of you to help your 91 yr old friend. Bet she is glad you are close by. My 93 yr old mother does really good (uses a walker) but lives in the casita at one of my sister's & BIL so they are always around. My other sisters and I live fairly close too so help is close by. Guess this is what we have to look forward to???

Great that your son will travel with you. Always good to have company especially going to unfamiliar areas. Have a fun time and travel safe. Will this be with your Good Sam club? I belong to GS but have never gone to any of their functions.

Linda -

Yea, I still belong to a Good Sam Chapter that hubby and I joined in early 80's. It's like having an extended family. Even tho the members have come and gone over the years, the group is very supportive of its single RV women. There presently are two of us. Our lone guy died last year. Rest are couples. It's nice knowing I can get out with a bunch of likeable folks once a month. I might not go at all otherwise.

I also belong to FMCA, but not a chapter. I only attend one thing a year - the Indio Western Area Rally, which is held at the Date Festival Fairgrounds and is huge. I go by myself - don't need to belong to a chapter for either GS or FMCA to attend rallies.

Sheila - we just had a week of nice weather, but today starts a week of cold and potential rain. Hope it's the last hurrah for winter. I don't like rainy weather and definitely don't like cold. It sounds like you are settling in quite nicely. It isn't easy, but you are doing fine. Learning a new life is tough, especially when we want the old one back.

Evie - I belong to GS, FMCA and a few others. Haven't gone to any GS ralies but have attended a couple FMCA chapter get togethers. Nice people - married couples. I need to try the big FMCA rally in Indio. Maybe this year??? It's raining and cold today so I'm not really thinking about going anywhere in the RV. LOL

Shiela - What will you do up in Idaho. Will you work camp?

the people I used to work for said that I could host a trail head if I wanted problem is that cell isn't that great neither is internet (with the air card) and the pay is miminal decided that I was going to take it for some reason when I went to send it sent it to draft so thinking maybe I shouldn't take it...so if I don't take it will park at DD do what I can to help her and perhaps look for a part time job I really need to generate some income but realisim tells me you are 66 over weighted don't have a degree and you want a job? and just for the summer at that...good luck actually would like to do something over the internet but my skills on the computer are basic at best

does that say I don't know what I am going to do?

Sounds like you have been busy Evie it's good that you are close by to help out your friend

Hope that she does well and returns home soon...

My cousins daughter was traveling with her kids up to Jackson Wy to see her folks had an accident some where in UT as she was taken to the University of Utah hospital...will be ok but sounds like it will take a lot of rehab broken pelvis broken leg and hip something to do with the heel and ankle thankfully the kids are ok...

and I noticed that the weather is not being friendly right now been windy and sprinkled a bit tonight and is cold once again it's been such a cold winter but having said that better down here than up there single digits and lots of snow
