Hi Shiela & all. Is Ogden, UT a four season city? What is the altitude there?

Whatever happened to Joella?? When I first joined this forum, it was fun and busy.

Last Fall Joella had a heart attack recovered but she hasn't been on the forum much sense...

not sure what happened when the other forum open we lost lots some do both others bailed out and for some reason we aren't gaining news ones..there is if I understand correctly a new systom and that for some reason it's not easy to find so we lost some that way as well sad because it was a really fun place I do check it dailey to see if anyone has posted anything or to start a thread and hops others will join in. and there is FB that has taken lots

If you look there are people looking at the postings but not posting not sure what gives there it's pretty much just a few of us that will speak

really wish that we had more activity and wish that Joella would return think cause she doesn't have a rv she is thinking that she doesn't have much to say not so what is the difference she lives in a s&b not going anywere and I live in a rv not going any where at the moment

Ogden is about 45 miles north of SLC higher elevation was there visiting a dd even SLC is a bit too iffy for the winter time not to mention the cost of the campgrounds per month more than I can handle at this moment not sure if you read but my husband died a couple of months ago... Will be going down to Q for the winter not sure when but have a site now so looking forward to that now I just need to decide that I can drive the truck towing this monster

Sheila - Sounds like you are considering driving the rig yourself to Q. Is that right? Is there someone who can drive a car behind you? Just to be sure you don't have any problems and are able to handle everything? Or ride with you and somehow get back home - bus perhaps? If not, you might want to make a few short trips out to a local CG and have a few dry runs.

I know how you must feel right about now. Probably wishing you guys had opted for a smaller combination! I sure wished that after my DH died and I saw that God-awful big motorhome parked in the yard! Of course, I didn't know Sharon then! She would have kicked my butt and had me driving thru cities! But like we always tell the newbies: Practice makes perfect. One mile at a time.

Course, you could always learn to love winter!

Hi Girls!
Yes, Shiela, I did know about Larry. Sounds like you are doing well. I agree with Evie that maybe you should do a few local trips with the RV before you tackle Quartzsite. You know you can do it!! Slow and easy. Each trip should get easier and easier.
Take care all,
Linda
