Just a quick note to say hi and let you know DH is still hanging in there. He is now on an infusion pump for his pain meds which it seems they are increasing the dosage weekly. He sleeps probably 20 hours a day now and when he is up he is dosing in his chair. I worry about leaving him alone at all now but he has a fit if I mention staying home yet. I have shortened my work day to be home 2 hours sooner, but he is so unsteady that I worry about him falling or passing out and hurting himself. We made it through the holidays and now consider any time we have a gift. I am over the initial shock of losing him, but will never be ready for the end to come.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying this very light winter we are having. I could actually pull the camper out of it's winter sleep as we have so little snow this year. I usually have a 6' snow bank in front of my exit for the camper and this year there is no more than 4 inches. Totally unheard of here in New Hampshire for Feb. I am happy as I was not looking forward to shoveling snow for nurses and aides.

Off to bed not much sleep last night and I am beat tonight.

Thanks for posting the update. I think of you so often and wonder how you are doing. I was just getting ready to post and ask about you. Take care or yourself. I know how hard it is to see your hubby gradually leaving you.

Where are you in NH? My DH was born and raised in Portsmouth but hadn't lived there in years. It is such a beautiful part of the country....well, in the summertime. I don't do cold weather!

Keep us posted and know that we are thinking of you.
