Ok most of you know that I don't do the outside stuff that is admittedly DH's domain...he will clearly admit that!! So over the past month he has not felt well we have sat our our daughter's waiting for him to feel better so we could go on down to SLC well maybe not a full month of not feeling well We left the campground on the 29 of Sept he took the trailor to DD's I went to SLC with one of my other DD's for a wedding came home on Friday evening left Sat morning to go to IA for a week we left there on Friday a couple of days before we left IA he started coughing one of those down to your toes hurt the back coughs...Got back to ID on Sunday we ended up staying an extra night on the road due to snow...anyway two drs visits and laying down for 3 weeks we finally left ID last Friday and came to SLC...only to pull a back muscle...now as much as we love being at our DD's it has one drawback....NO dump! so here we have been at her place for that length of time and not dumping so we get to SLC Fri I, silly me thought he would hook up all the stuff like water and dump the tanks but he didn't feel up to it just did the important stuff like satalite and electrical. turned on the water later that night no water...that is when I found out what had been hooked up and not so then I really started getting worried about the black water....so Sat he goes out to finish hooking up and pulls a muscle in his back ....ouch and there goes an end to everything other than water was hooked up....not sure if it was Sat late or Sun he said that the leak that we had under the bathroom sink was worse so filled a couple of bottles of water and turned off the water. Monday still hurting Tues has Drs Appt to get his prescriptions filled and still not moving very well! So when we got home I said walk me through hooking up the sewer hose (because we had a long ways to go up at the campground had to have a longer hose so when we left we left the extra length there and in doing so had to undo all of it) so had to put the connections on it not an easy task at all but I perservered and got it on and hooked up and drained! When I'd gotten up on Monday had taken all of the stuff from under the sink (including the two dead mices that we didn't know were there...he still doesn't)thinking that DH would be able to work on it ....no such luck finally today I got down there with a drawing of the tubes and wrenches proceeded to tighten the pipe that was leaking and water turned on and no leaking...so tomorrow after his oncologists appt I will strive to go through the stuff and horrors of horror get rid of some of the stuff that isn't being used....do I really need to kept that hmm personal stuff just incase the dd's come unprepared??? Keeped thinking if so and so can do this I can!!! thank you all you so and so's!!! I did well the last couple of days

You go girl! You can do it, and how great it is that your DH is there to at least talk you through some of these things.

On the other hand, please know that you and your hubby are in my prayers. Keep us posted.

Aww so sorry Larry is down again, will be praying he gets better fast! I am proud of you for getting out there and and doing things to help out...I know we have been talking how we all need to be able to do whatever needs to be done even if we don't have to. Hope you get to Q safely and will see you...sometime soon!

so do I (hope he gets to feeling better) I drive but would rather not drive with my husband...he has a way of letting you know that would not be the way he would do it! so just try not to drive with him well right now I'm the driver and not liking it at all!...for some reason he thinks I really thinks he thinks it helpful to say red light ahead or yellow light or .............. it's like chalk grating on a chalkboard! well that vent is out of the way until I have to drive tomorrow has to go in and have a bone scan the psa test was way high lots higher than they expected so going in to see if it is growing.. and then on to see a medical oncologist not what we expected to do this trip or every actually ...a bump in the road for sure

now to go out and plug in the truck

Glad you were able to get what needed to be taken care of. Good job! I think we should all know how to do it for "just in case". I hope DH starts to feel better soon.

Aw, Sheila - I can't get on line very often since both computers are sinking fast, but I had to let you know I was pulling for you. Having to do all the "blue" jobs you didn't need to do before is hard, but you put your head down and plowed ahead! Good for you! There will probably be more bumps ahead, and you will take charge, but every one of them is one more experience you will have mastered.

Hope Larry gets to feeling better real soon. In the meantime, there are a lot of gals pulling for you.
