How hot is it at your place? Here in KY it is supposed to be 95 with heat index of 105 to 110. It is miserable hot, hoping for a cool down soon. I have not been able to go walking in about two weeks. I can't lose weight sitting inside all the time :)

Take care all

I'm happy to say that it's only 82 here today but it has been raining most of the day. I don't want to complain about the rain because we are coming off a 3 month drought but we may have to bale hay in the yard.

I try to walk in the late afternoon but it has been so humid that it makes it miserable. Some days I can't get away from the cats. I try to feed them behind the house and get down the road so they don't follow me. I don't want the little furballs to get run over. They are getting smart and start trying to track me like dogs.

Just don't wanta talk about it... Been 101* the past couple of days and no rain. I see on TV where Martha and Carolyn have rains over there in Louisiana ... and it's projected to come west and our way... but it either jogs north or south of us and we get zilch.

Add to that my laptop is giving problems... It has a short or loose wire in the lid... and screen only shows in one postion... which happens to be a hard one to type in.. I have been advised by one to "shoot it" and buy another and also second opinion says have it repaired... So... I'll opt for an estimate on repairs. I hate to just give up on it...as it's been a good one.

Hey! It's OK. All is well and going GREAT.... I like to think everyday is here for my enjoyment and that's what I intend to do! Grin..

Enjoy your afternoon, all!

Happy Travels

Joella

Yesterday it was in the high 80's, and this morning we had a heavy downpour and the temps drop down to 69, finally

I am used to AZ weather (hot and NO humidity) but am spending the summer in IN where it is HOT and HUMID!! Today it is 85 at noon and not so humid! Lynn, my cousin and I have been walking in the morning and it is way hot and when it is too much we go to the mall and walk. Is there somewhere you could walk indoors?

The mall is about 30 miles from me. I could walk at Walmart but that usually costs about $100. We have a tread mill but I hate to walk on it. It is so boring! If I walk down the road I have to walk back, I can't just quit.

I am wishing for some rain to go to Joella's. It has been raining of and on all day and looks like we will get more.

Last week I got some Breyers ice cream with Whopper Malt Ball candy in it. It sounded like it would be good but not so much. I guess I am use to Ben and Jerry's that is so sweet. Like I need ice cream anyway.

we had it a bit warm today but not unmanageable. Some days it's a bit on the chilly side but you know I rarely look at the temp...unless I'm uncomfortable

we don't have humdity here it's just been nice although really could use a bit of rain the roads are really dusty right now.

So far our temps have been below average, so I'm not complaining too much, but would like a little more sun and less clouds to cheer me up.

Getting ready for a GTG in Bandon, OR. Aug 15th -19th at Bullards SP. Anyone want to join in, come on!

Well, I've been traveling across the central US and it has been hot, hot and then hot some more. I have avoided even checking to see what the temps were but when I checked into an RV park in Salina, KS, this afternoon the guy said, "well, its 109 today, was only supposed to be 108." At least it isn't quite as humid as it has been east of here. I'll be glad to get to Colorado Springs even though it has been relatively hot there too it cools off at night.
