Thanks for the pictures! Honestly, I have never seen the inside of a houseboat and now I'm curious. How much do they cost? Are they like RV's...from less expensive to "not in a million years"? Must be allot of fun just floating around a beautiful lake/river. Have fun in your search...

The houseboats pictured in above post cost about 200,000.00.

Here are a few pictures of lower end houseboats, that cost around 50 to 75,000.00.

When I was less than a teenager we would go to Grand Lake in Oklahoma for fishing and swimming and there was a real old man named Uncle Charlie who had the first house boat I had ever seen. It was built by hand - I mean really built by hand with found lumber - but I thought that was the most exciting thing I had ever seen. The idea that you could move your house if you got tired of the view. And years later I have my houseboat on wheels.
