I've had quite the adventure these past few days. I hope this never happens to you! I can laugh about it, kinda, sorta, now.

This link will take you to the beginning, just click on Newer Post at the end of each page.

wow Snookie!! what a rough few days.... so good that you had friends there to help you out....even it it was their fault .

Oh by the way couldn't help but notice your last name when I first went into your blog...way back when my husband's line had daughters marry into that name...don't want to mention it here. They were living in Iowa...came from Ireland and one family went on to Colorado. Thought that it was interesting.

Snookie, I am so sorry this happened to you. It was good your friend thought of the Rug DR. I wouldn't have thought of that at all. My sink drains are always open, so I would think that the water would run on out into the holding tank. Did the holding tank fill up and then overflow? Glad you were able to get it all cleaned up, but sorry you had to work so hard to do it.

Yes, the holding tanks filled and then backed up to the sinks and they filled and the water had no where else to go. We don't keep our holding tanks open, when they fill we go out and pull the lever and they empty. Stanley Steemer was here yesterday, the carpets look brand new and it smells so good in here now....things are getting back to normal.

Thanks for all of your comments on this situation I found myself in. I hope as you read it you got a chuckle along the way.
