Hi Sharon! Looks like you girls had a lot of fun in SD! I see you are trying to get Pat addicted to geocaching too. I have never tryed it although there seem to be a lot here in Yuma and the surrounding areas. The girls and I have tryed letterboxing which we like a lot but there are not so many to seek out here. I need to check and see if there are any new ones! Be safe on your trip home to TX!

Thanks for sharing the visit! I know y'all enjoyed. I got a kick out of seeing some of the local sites near Pat's home.

Many enjoy geocaching --- I hope you can find time for doing some when you get back to Texas and to work. I bet there will be a lot of "finds" in the Hill Country, since it is so very touristy. Geocaching would be a good excuse to head for "them hills"!!!

Keep on having fun! Safe travel wishes to you.

Joella

I had a great time with Sharon! She's welcome anytime as are the rest of you! This summer we had a 30 amp hookup installed so I don't have to wait until o'cool thirty to go out and work in the 5er when it's hot. Even took her to the local waterin' hole for "old fart" happy hour and she met several of our friends and she was given a taste of small town camaraderie! The reason I'm good a finding geocaches is that I'm experienced at doing shake downs at the prison! Don't think it's something I can get into right now...I know where the only one in town is located!

looks like you all had a fun time. Glad that Sharon was able to make it...Sharon are you going to fill in your blank state on your map? One of these days we are going to go that way on our way to Madison

Hi Sheila,

I already have! The traffic was not fun in Sioux City to go see The Sergeant Floyd riverboat, but I did go to see a monument dedicated to him on the outskirts of town. As a matter of fact, there was a geocache right there, and I got it! ;) So when I get home, I'll finish coloring in my map :)

Love,

Sharon

How wonderful that you could spend time with Pat. She was wonderful to me too. I would so much like to have been with you both. Glad you had a great time. Bye the way, I am really enjoying your blog. You have gone to a bunch of places I have missed. Makes me want to go back on a slightly different route. Maybe next year....who knows.
