Yes, the rumors you have heard are true, there will be a Gathering of the Pink Flamingos, November 19,20,21, at the Stone Creek RV Park in Schertz, TX. - just north of San Antonio. Karen Stiltner and I are hosting the "gathering" and we are planning a lot of fun and wacky things to do with emphasis on fun.
What is involved in being a Pink Flamingo? Just show up ready to enjoy the weekend armed with all your flashiest, cheesiest, pink flamingo bling, (or not, bling isn't mandatory), and be ready for a good time. Husbands and significant others are welcome to accompany their Pink Flamingo and if there are enough of them coming we may try to plan some "Blue Flamingo" stuff to entertain them.

, or give them a call at 830.609.7759. My contact is Terri, the manager there. The nightly rates are $26.50 if we have 10-14 rigs and $24.50 with 15 or more rigs. There is an extra $2 charge for 50 amp service. These rates are also good for two days before or after the rally. I have put down a $100 deposit so we can have use of their community room. If we have at least 10 rigs I will get my deposit back, otherwise I'll be passing the hat.
