We looked at the Nu Wave oven as we have friends in a fiver who love theirs. However, Libby says it's too big for our motorhome. Oddly enough, we are having chuck roast tonight cooked in a super wave. Some of our other friends have that one. They tell us that it actually cleans itself. You put soap and water in it and turn it on and it actually cleans itself. You just rinse and dry. Both of our friends who have these two different appliances are RVers and both just rave about their devices. The Nu Wave has a plastic cover and the Super Wave is Pyrex.

John, you'll have to let us know how that meat you're having tonight was. Most times I cook my roast in the oven on a lower temperature.. 300*... to cook slow and tenderize. It's surely hard to beat it done that way... and am not sure the expense of a Super Wave or Nu Wave could improve it.

I did read reviews...and found lots of negative ones.. If I bought one from a store that allowed easy returns... I might gamble on it...but don't want to be stuck with something I don't like.

Happy RVing all!

I am not familiar with the Super Wave but vegetables I know about! Love 'em. Recently purchased a new cookbook called Super Foods. Lots of vegetable, whole grains, nuts, fruit and some delicious looking meat, fish and poultry for those that eat it. The recipes are great. I do not love brussels sprouts but the brussel sprouts and pear recipe was a real winner. Haven't found a bad recipe in the book yet.
