Does anyone have this, or know anything about it? I am a nut about small kitchen appliances--- and have been looking at this. Supposed to cook meats and all faster than anything else.... leaving it moist, tender and juicy and able to cook without additional fats.

Opinions and reviews, please. I may ask Santa for one, if it's recommended.

Enjoy the day! I'm meeting granddaughter for Chinese lunch. Always enjoy time with her.

Happy RVing!

Joella

Nope, never even seen that one before. Nice that you have time to enjoy lunch out with Britnney! Alicia joined Miss Helen and me for breakfast today at Cracker Barrel.

I have never seen that one before. My DH was looking at the one that kind of looks like that and they are always advertising on TV. I can't remember the name right now. Anyway, I did a search for reviews for that product and the reviews were terrible. Do a search for reviews on this one and see what people think about it.

Sheila, I LOVE the microwave steamer. I steam chicken breast and fish filets in it....That kind of meat is fine steamed, but I want my beef browned. Just looks better, so I bake it in the oven.

Vegetables in the steamer are marvelous. One needs not add a lot of spices to the veggies to jazz them up. Everything tastes so fresh and good. The veggies keep those lovely colors and just "looks good enough to eat". If it were not for Milt's bacon for breakfasf.....I'd NEVER use the cooktop of the stove.

I use the steamer daily. I do find that I like fresh veggies far better than any frozen ones. Frozen ones end up "watery tasting", and steaming from fresh gives you the full benefit of the vegetable flavor!

Happy RVing all!!

My first thought was all those baked on splatters on the glass and metal wire shelves. Looks like you'd have to invest in an awful lot of SOS or Brillo pads! Maybe it doesn't splatter or spit? Joella, as our great gadget guru, why don't you get one and report to the rest of us?

DH had to have one of these type ovens and believe me I was not impressed. It was noisy, bulky and took up way more space than I had. It took way longer to cook than it said it should and did nothing but collect dust in a closet until I sold it at a yard sale. I would not waste your money on it unless they have improved a great deal in the last 10 years.

In our house he is the gadget guru. I just have to find a way to discourage him or he would have everything on the market. I have an electric steamer in the garage if anyone needs one, also a pasta maker, dehydrator, indoor grill, george forman grill, juicer, ice cream makers, Popiel's set it and forget it oven (which I do use and love), deeo fryer. All I need is a mixer, good set of pots and pans and my crock pot and I am good to go.

Have a great day.

Thanks, Forum Sisters! That was exactly the kind of personal knowledge I was wanting to hear!

Think I'll just skip this little kitchen toy!!

Happy RVing, all!
