My sister passed away early this morning, on her 57th birthday. She lasted days longer than expected. Was not consious during any of her last days. Wake/funeral on Thurs/Fri. Plan on flying home on the 18th. Still have not processed it all Sure it will hit me later as we all seem to me running on adrenaline.
Thank you for your love and support. We still need you to keep that up as our last good byes will be heartbreaking.

Oh Lenora - I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing a younger sibling. I'm glad you have your faith, although right now that probably seems like a small comfort. I hope you were able to have a little time with her - you were by her side and that's terribly important - to both of you. Take care of yourself during this difficult time. Maybe even a cookie or two are merited..........and know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for trusting us enough to share your grief.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

When my mom died it was so hard to not talk with her every day - I started writing her letters and that helped allot. I just wrote them on line & saved them. Writing down my thoughts and telling her about my day helped me through the worst of the days. Just a suggestion when you find all those thoughts filling up your head.

Take care of yourself - I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

So glad you got there in time Lenora and she didn't linger in suffering. Will continue to hold you all in prayer during your final closures.
