I have the slinky type, made out of some kind of heavy cardboard. Seems to work pretty good. Never have minded emptying holding tanks, guess from all of the years of changing diapers and doing plumbing at work. Now that was a nasty job and the clients we're pretty germy so you had to be really careful. At least after doing that I feel that my poop is a little "cleaner" ....LOL!

I was in a 2 million dollar + Marathon last year - yes - an EXPENSIVE rig - and you push a button and the sewer hose shoots out, you just put the end fitting in the sewer hole. It was kind of scary at first - but pretty cool. An old business associate of mine and her husband own it - can you imagine a rig that costs more than 2 million dollars? I couldn't - you push buttons and the closet doors, and bath door, etc. slide open. The whole thing is pneumatic. Pretty slick.

I use a slunky - I like the idea of holding it together with Velcro - I still have the box - it never goes in the box - and it just sort of 'slunks' all around the compartment. Having just had to scrub up Spencer's (furbaby #2) poop as he has had diarrhea and I was gone a bit - I'm really not in the mood to discuss anyone's being 'cleaner' than any one elses! I will just say, his was't, Just hoping the aqua carpet is still sort of aqua when it dries! LOL Poor baby......(and Mark was here and had to do the initial clean-up - bless his heart - quite the mess!)

Kerri, I know you can't do it now, but when you can, get thee to a Walmart and get a product called "OUT!" Stain and Odor Remover. It's in the pet section....cleans up poop, including really bad diarrhea, pee, cat hair balls, dog puke, whatever your babies can shoot out of either end. Doesn't fade the carpet, takes the smell out, and smells fresh. This stuff is the most amazing thing I've ever, and I mean ever, used! I now buy it by the gallon and refill the spray bottle.
