Back yard complete now.....Ready to party!!

Went to Wal-Mart and got some cushions to sit on the upper sidewalk that can be used for sitting next to the casita. Got a big cover to put over the furniture if the dust storms or Rain kick up to keep them clean and dry. We have 2 wireless speakers mounted to the Pergola for Serius Radio so we can listen to music outside. Speakers can come off and take with us this summer. Canopy comes off when the wind kicks up or summer time. Frame is made of steel. We just need to drill bolts into the legs of the pergola to secure to the 4 x4's under the legs in the ground . Patio furniture will go into the casita for the Summer so nothing is left outside. Felix already loves the sofa!! We have a 11 ft umbrella that will shade the table and chairs for dinners on the patio. On the other side of the shed I have a small tall green house. Started my tomatoes from seed and they are just budding the flowers so little grape tomatoes should start to grow soon! Back yard is ready for Dan's 60th Birthday next month on the 15th. Still pinching myself that we have our own Shangrila...just love it here!!!

Must explain we do not stay here in the Summer, it gets up to 115 degrees!! Think my next door neighbors are nuts to stay here all year!! We head North as soon as it gets triple digits, which is usually the first week of May. We come back down in Oct but Nov for sure.

Wow! You have really made progress. I remember when you first bought this lot and were dreaming of all the things you wanted to do. Looks like you've accomplished them. Good for you!

Lots of work Jenny, but it sure does look like it was worth it. Just gorgeous! Waved at you last Thursday and Monday as we roared thru on the bikes on the way to Benson and then back home again!
