Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

I've always disliked this day because it just emphasizes how alone I am. I figure if no one has loved me by now, no one is going to so I might as well be happy ! Who needs flowers and candy and diamonds and someone to hold at night. I have Molly and Murphy.

Trudy...you are very wrong about no one loving you..you have a wonderful family both at home and here who love you very much! Please don't think that not having a MAN is the same thing as not having love! Think of it as finding out in life that you don't NEED one just would be nice if you did! LOL

Trudy, Alice is SO right. There are those of us on the Forum who love you. Your family certainly does. AND....it's not over!! Who's to say "Mr. Wonderful for Trudy" is not right around the corner? Meanwhile, I do like your happy attitude stand!! Continue to enjoy every day for what it brings you--- Get involved in activities that will have you out around people, so you can meet them. It is nice to have friends to run around with... both male and female. Go out and embrace life and ENJOY!!

Trudy, I've tried to post a comment to your post several times and each time I erase it and start over. It saddens me for you to think that way. You are loved. As for the MAN, when it's the time he will be there.

What Alice and Joella said. Listen to them.......get out there and enjoy life.

I don't like this day, as I am so lonely for a man!!!
Like Trudy I do not feel love or do I like the candy and flowers.
I will be glad when its over.
By the way, I am moving again. to independant living. Right now I think life stinks.
My oldest son has been helping me, for that help I am thankful. I am also sick of
snow and winter.

i was so "down" yesterday and I should never had posted such a message.
Today the sun is out but it is not warm. I am still sick of all the snow.
I have been packing and am very happy about this move. I can not keep up
with all the work here. Thats when I miss my hubby.
To all the forum girls, I do wish you all the best.

Kat, it's OK to have a down day and post your feelings here - that's what sisters are for !!!

I'm glad you're happy about the move - do you have friends or family that can come over and help you so it's not so overwhelming ??? This stinkin' snow and cold is wearing on a person's soul - spring is on the way though and soon !!! The days are getting longer and I've hear some of the birds singing their sping song so it's on it's way !

You all have certainly cheered me along - and listened to me whine - and put up with me! I'm also trying to get to the 'who needs a man' stage - but darn it's a tough one! You all make me happy though - and that's a good thing. Valentine's was good - I was at my brother and sil's. No phone service there, but I got a couple of nice e Valentine's, and had messages when I emerged to cell phone service once again this morning. Thanks all! You are one special group of women - and Kat don't forget chat! We're more 'in person' there and can usually elicit a few laughs, or at least chuckles!
