Yes, the Metroplex of Dallas/Ft Worth does get snow every so often ---- BUT yesterday they ended up with 12.5 inches in a DAY, which is unheard of!! They usually average 2.5 inches in a year! They are not used to that, and don't have the supplies and machinery to do anything with it. Today, it's blowing it's cold north wind down our way and we only got to a 40* high, which is 27* lower than our normal temperature. We are projected to have cold weather for the rest of February.

I heard on the weather news there is snow on the ground in 49 states!!! Don't y'all think that is a weather record breaker too?

Enjoy and stay warm! Happy RVing!

Alice, I don't have time to run up there. Will have to delegate duties!!

I'm way busy trying to figure out which state does NOT have snow...so I can run a contest on it on the Forum!

AND figuring out the prize for the winner!!

Joella--

Only state that does not have snow-- Hawaii.

I'm wondering where the snowbirds go in weather like this?

No - it wouldn't be Hawaii - it frequently has snow on the ground! Well - on the tops of the volcanoes - but you know what I mean..... I don't know which it is - but I'd be more inclined to say FL.

Kerry...it really was Hawaii. They didn't say that it never got snow...it said that right now it is the only state without snow on the ground! And that was days ago so who knows now!

Now you all know WHY I owned my yurt in Hawaii! The plan was to spend winters there - well, the plan 'back in the day'. The yurt was at 2500 feet however and January nights were pretty darned brisk!
