Well, one good thing to come out of my miscalculation was a nice, new dome satellite dish that I can just push the button and it will search the satellite. No more cranking up and figuring angles, etc. Hey, they were replacing the dish anyway, so for a couple of hundred dollars I upgraded!
Shortly after my mishap a guy tried to take his new fifth wheel through a bank drive-up window! Got his picture in all the papers. And the tech who checked Flitter over and listed what needed to be done told me the last rig he had to check with stuff peeled off the roof was a 40 foot Dynasty and it was a guy who took roof and all off! Peeled it back like a sardine can. Didn't make me feel any better, but at least I knew it wasn't necessarily because I am a female and old!
When Flitter got her new set of tires, Firestone must have backed her under their overhang and now her ladder is bent over. The new ladder it took me 5 months to get after my accident! Everyone at Firestone swore on a stack of bibles that they didn't do it and I couldn't prove that they did. Funny that there is the same color beige paint on the ladder that is on their building, isn't it?
