A thirty year law enforcement career that required that I go to work in all types of weather. This is my 6th year of retirement and we finally got a snow storm. The great part is I do not have to leave the house. Little disappointed that I had to cancel a trip to SC to see an old friend.
Hope everyone is staying warm or enjoying the warm wherever you are.
Just a side note -- Dec. 16 -- a friend of mine-- 55 years old had a stroke -- she is making great progress but I just wanted to remind you to LIVE, LAUGH & LOVE

Isn't retirement and the RVing life simply wonderful? GREAT you are enjoying!

Sorry to hear of your friend's stroke. God Bless her, and praying for a speedy recovery for her.

You are right...and thanks for the reminder to enjoy every day to the fullest....and find something to brag on in every day!

Happy RVing!

Joella

isn't it great not to have to do nada??? when the weather tells you to stay in you have that option.

but at the same time we would go crazy if we didn't do something. Glad your friend is responding have an aunt that had a stroke just before Christmas it's recoverable but she in well into her 90's not sure how much she has to put into the effort of recovering...yes we do need to enjoy the day

Retirement is the best thing ever invented. I can sleep as late as I want and try not to schedule anything before 10 am anyway. If I could I would retire the alarm clock but now and then there is something that has to be done in the morning that requires an earlier wake up. The day I retired I never look back.
