This is not our MH...but one just like it. I should take a photo of ours...and show you the before and the after--- since ours is SO very dirty!! We have bad road grime...even large pieces of sand kicked up on ours.

We got it all cleaned out yesterday, things moved into the house and put away....and got the motorhome moved from the house driveway....to the workshop drive and backed into the workshop shed. Milt gave directions and I backed her in. I got it in immediately....but it wasn't in straight enough. It's a very tight fit and has to be "just so" for door and slides to open. There is a sharp "S-curve" to back in at the gate area.... We need to move the gate and make it more straight on to the shed. Anyhoo.....I "rutched" it back and forth until I got all things workable!!

I just determined I would do this...and would do it slowly and calmly....and it all worked!! :)

When it's warmer and sunnier...will take care of washing and cleaning of both outside and inside... Hope to get to the trimming and installing of the rug with double stick carpet tape soon too. Then, my next project will be to cover the dinette cushions. I don't like the fabric on there now. However, it's not as bad as some we've had in the past.

We had trimmed more limbs for ease of getting the MH in and out of both drives... We hauled that to the burn pile. We then blew leaves and sand out of the garage and brought in a wheelbarrow and two little trailer loads of firewood for the wood stove.

One of the connectors for our U.S. Flag broke...and flag was hanging by only the top hole....so took that down and added needed repair supplies to our "List" to get tomorrow to get the flag back up.

I baked two banana cakes. I'd put some bananas in the freezer before they went bad on us...and thawed those out and used for the cakes. Just a busy little Suzy Homemaker all day long!! Ha!

Enjoy your afternoon..

Happy RVing!

Joella

I must have gotten banana bread vibes from you yesterday. I got the cookbook with my favorite recipe out but didn't have any bananas and never made it to the store. Harold came in with chili fixings but I had already started a pot of steak and gravy so I made chili today. Not my idea of Sunday dinner but it fits the weather, cool and damp.

I have an RV port behind my old house. I have to back down the drive and make a 90 degree turn. I have done it so much I can do it in the dark. Just have to be careful not to hit the fence or back in too far. The roofing crew was using my RV box to run their equipment and blew the fuse and burnt a wire. I was not happy because it was right before the week of freezing weather. The box has been flooded twice and the inside was all corroded. The electrician wanted to just put a 30 amp box but I told him to just get it going and I was going to order the box I wanted. I have one like the campgrounds have with 50, 30 and 20 amps but it is old. I found one on the internet. Years ago when I wanted to put up a box the electric supply places looked at me like I had 2 heads when I told them what I wanted. Guess RV connections are more common now.
