Well, he's on the mend. Very, very slowly, but mending. Thanks so much for your prayers. It's really helped, I'm sure.

We're still in Ventura, as he hasn't figured out how to walk yet. It's kind of like he's a stuffed animal -- all floppy. But his tongue works, and he's big on kisses.

Here's a picture of the vet and a lab tech getting him ready for his first outing to see about walking:

Then the "limo" ride to the outside:

He enjoyed sniffing the grass a bit, but just couldn't get the hang of putting one foot in front of another. I've got pictures of him all hooked up to tubes and wires, but I think I'll save them for the owners of the campground ...

Thanks again for your prayers.

I'm delighted Jed is improving, though slowly. God is good!! Prayers are still flying for the two of you.

Hang in there,

Joella

Thank you for the update. Just makes me sick to think what he has had to go through because of some idiot. Been watching for some news about him...going to bed now..... Jed and you will be in my prayers. I'll be checking for more updates tomorrow at work.

I am so glad Jed is on the mend, even if it is slowly. It has to be a tremendous relief for you. I hope you nail those owners good. No one should have to go through this. I am thinking of you both and wishing a speedy recovery.

I'm glad Jed is getting better ! I'm sure you're both relieved.

It's a good reminder to us all that any public place can and probably does have poison of some sort put out - scary stuff.

So sad to see Jed just laying there when we generally see him in the ocean or having fun romping. I wonder what he's thinking, too. Poor guy. Hugs to you both.

What a horrible thing to happen. I have tears in my eyes.

My little Whimsy licked up some antifreeze that had dripped on the ground from a car last Spring and we had a horrible day. I LOVE veternarians. I am so greatful for what they can do for our little 4 legged children.
