My brother always wanted a bigger Big Foot - he had a teensy one years ago - I know he'll be sad - it is indeed the end of an era. A number of mfgs. have had horrible, business ending years. Alpenlite, in business since 1971 has also folded. Even Fleetwood has been pulled from the NY Stock Exchange because they are no longer worth 25 million. Their stock is down to .12 a share. Oh my! Yeah, I'm sure there is something out there somewhere.. music rises, tune of Somewhere (theres a place for us),fade to black ...
I bought stock in Country Coach, when I worked there bought it at 32$ sold at 12$. Market obviously isn't my thing! It is closing its doors 28 Feb. It's been in business since about 1974. Generations of familys have worked there, good wages for high school educations, some times even less. Be a major shock to the Junction City area Paradise has far more to do with the person than the place

We were seriously thinking of getting a Big Foot truck camper when we lived in Alaska, but didn't want to tie up our truck for other stuff, like hauling material as we were also building our home at the time. Lenora & Choco "Sometimes I wonder. How did I get to be so old? Then I remember, Oh yeah, by the Grace of God."

Sometimes, the only right answer is silence...which in and of itself speaks a thousand words.

All I can say is God Bless and Watch over our nation. We are going to need all the help we can get. It will "come back", but may be a while, so must stay the course and tighten our seat belts for the ride!!

Having been in business for ourselves for 25 years, we can attest to the truths in your post, Excel. We worked night and day. Fed cattle at night, Milt and daughter to a pasture north of town. Son and I to the farm to feed. Nights were work on tools, get orders for supplies, figure bids, do payroll and do bookkeeping, etc.
We live in a gossipy small town... and a man once said NO way we could make as much money as we had doing brickwork. He had kin who were bricklayers and we MUST be running drugs or something on the side.
Depends on one's perspective and which side of the spectrum you are on..huh?
Happy RVing!
