Just got back from Pigeon Forge and was parked under a sappy Maple tree. I have a cloth-like fiber awning and don't know what to clean it with. Anyone have a tried and true method? I don't want to leave that stuff on there rolled up all winter. Have fun and be safe, Linda

Thank you for the advice on cleaning awnings. Any way I look at it it doesn't sound fun or easy. I travel with my husband of 39 years as of the anniversary we celebrated just yesterday. We are in the minority where pets and motorhomes are concerned.....we do not have any. We have a 2004 Newmar Scottsdale and tow a Jeep. My husband is not retired yet and therefore we cannot go as often as we'd like to. This past summer we joined a camping group called Hoosier Cruisers which is a division of FMCA and we enjoyed the monthly outings. They always plan tours of area factories or interesting things to see and we had a ball with them. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were wonderful. The colors were very pretty and I got to see two bears! It was very crowded due to the colors and the semi-annual Craft Fair. After we left there we went to the Covered Bridge Festival in Rockville, Bridgeton, and Mansfield Indiana. Great time there too. Thanks again for the awning cleaning suggestions. Have fun and be safe, Linda

Thanks for the cleaning info Joella. I just opened my awning after 5 months of it being rolled up and I really appreciated the tip to roll it out a little at a time and clean. I just bought a ladder and a dust mop that I am going to use to clean the awning. I like to use the RV awning cleaner that I found at Walmart. Its by Camco. I really like this product and I like the RV Wash and Wax that they sell also. OB44
