Hi All -
I'm heading out early in the am to go to a rodeo campout in Santa Maria, CA. I'll be following another couple and we plan to stop first for 2 nights at a spot along the Pacific. Hope our weather gets a bit warmer because I'm picturing myself sitting outside my door, sipping my glass of wine and watching the sun set over the water! The way the weather has been the last few days I might be doing that in my winter jacket!
Then it's on to the rodeo! Never been camping at a rodeo before, but the price seemed pretty good - $110 for 4 nights dry camping, but includes almost all meals! Entrance to the events would be extra.
I'll get home two days before Sharon and I leave for Texas where we'll get to meet Beth (Bethers) and Joella (Jomilt)! I'm so looking forward to meeting these friends in person! Those two days home I'll be busy doing laundry and food shopping, so try not to have too many long posts, okay? I'd hate to miss anything!

Evie, sounds like you've got a winning game plan for the next few weeks. Sure wish I was able to head off with you, but as you know, work and now fuel prices, and son's graduation and such are all factors keeping my feet (and tires) planted firmly at home these days. Hoping to get away somewhere next month, even for a weekend locally. But keep keepin on and make sure you two post some pics of your TX gtg pleeeeeeeease :) Big hugs of happiness from me to you. :) Live, Love, Laugh - Aloha Donna & Willie 05 32' Seabreeze Class A 07 Jeep Liberty Ltd 4x4

Enjoy the rodeo! Our twin granddaughters are both into horses and rodeoing events.
The time is growing nearer for us all to meet, and I am SO looking forward to it!! Can't get here soon enough for me, but I'll allow you all the fun-filled plans you have for the meantime.
Happy travels, Evie and enjoy!

Evie,
Them's my old stomping grounds :) I went to high school in Morro Bay, just north of Santa Maria. Wave hi to the coast for me as you drive on by... I miss it.
Have fun! Kim Wife to Randy, Mom to Elizabeth (20) and Megan (17)
