If you don't use a lot of cell minutes or use a LOT of them check out the Magic Jack ( www.magicjack.com ) Its a nifty little thingy about the size of a credit card. The initial cost is $39.95 for one year of service and the thingy, thereafter its $19.95 a YEAR for unlimited service to anywhere at anytime FREE, FREE, FREE. You plug the Magic Jack into a USB port on your computer and then plug ANY phone into the Magic Jack. After the initial download you just pick up your phone and dial. When I'm traveling my daughter and granddaughter and I like to talk for extended periods and it used to really eat up my cell minutes. Also great for calling local business, etc when you're parked. You do need a highspeed internet connection not a dial up service. Check it out.

You still need a ISP correct. Otherwise I'm not sure how it would work. Great idea, thanks for sharing. Lenora and Choco "I wanna RV, too"! Anyone have cheese to go with my whine?

Sometimes, the only right answer is silence...which in and of itself speaks a thousand words.

Yes, you need high speed interernet. It works with my Verizon aircard and it worked with various parks' Wifi's. Dial up internet won't work with it.
