Sharon, I surely never thought about the prescription coming from a Canadian Dr. causing a snag in getting meds from a U.S. Wal*mart... Drat! Scratch that plan!!
Mary Ellen, sorry you have a medical scare, and were in the hospital..Glad to hear you are better and home enjoying that river bank summer..Sounds like son and kids enjoyed the water too..son almost catching a fish by hand!!
Good you could get on-line to post..be good to catch up with your doings every so often!
leighann... Great your carpenter showed up today..I never expected that on a Saturday, especially since he's been a "no show". And to finish on a Sunday!!! Well...alright!! Things seem to be looking up for you and yours!!! Our neighbors have a schnauzer named Bailey!! Small world!!! :-)
Happy Travelin'!!! :-)

Leighann, I'm actually in Alaska right now, starting to work our way down to the lower 48. It's an hour earlier here than home, so I always have to stop and think before I call someone!! Not a problem here though, I don't have phone service. Sis does, but her phone is digital and regular, whatever it's called, I just went brain dead, and mine is just digital. Analog, maybe? Mine has that Analog and Digital and I can get connections when many cannot...However, our phone is old, and can no longer buy a battery for it. Before long, will have to get another..I dread losing my great connection ability!!!
I've been searching!!!
When do you think you'll hit the states? How is Sam? Keep happy...and good Traveling.. :-) Remember: You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing.

Yup, that's it....analog. Glad someone's brain is working tonite, mine sure isn't!!! Must have been that 4 mile round trip walk into town today, scrambled my brains. LOL Thanks Joella.
The plan is to cross over into Washington on Aug 8th. 3 days in Blaine, then I go to Everett for 4 days and sis leaves for Pahrump. I have an appt. at the Monaco factory in Oregon for some warranty work on the 17th,(they have me booked in for a week) then Corvalis for a friends family reunion. Then a week on the beach by Newport, Or., then home. Should be home around Sept 8th more or less. So in about 5 weeks I should be home. Then it's time to get every ready for the winter sand dune trips. Whewww! I'm just way to busy having fun! This retirement business is hard work!! Glad to help, Sharon!! Anyone can have a "Senior Moment"...even the young!!
Hard to believe your dream trip is almost over. Bet you'll hate seeing the end of your long trip with your sister.
Does Monaco have a place for you with hookups for the week's booking? I LOVE family reunions, as family is ALL!
Are your winter sand dune trips for an extended period, or just long weekends? It's wonderful you have such a busy, fully enjoyed life!
Agreed! Retirement is busy and makes one wonder how we used to fit in fun AND work!!. Long travels and retirement is pretty well a heaven on earth!
I have enjoyed your writings of your trip...What long trip are "we" taking next? - With we two...we are always driving home from a trip while planning our next one. :-)
Have a happy one!!! Remember: You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing.
