These are cool. I'll print this out and try them.
I read the list avidly to see if there are any solutions to removing a (seemingly) permanent burned-on stain on my glass-cooktop stove.
Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks! r2r **************************************** CU on the road! r2r

Geez Joella, what a wealth of info, I think I need to tape it to my fridge it is so good!! My Dad said the Vicks thing actually works on the toe fungus. Though his boss had to ask him one day, as he looked down at my Dad's sandles and noticed the baggies and squishy noise! He wore the baggies for two months, but beats those expensive pills that are bad on the liver! Thanks Cillie Happiness is living your best dreams and God answering your prayers!!!

r2r..the best thing I know for ceramic cooktops is Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner. You can get it at Wal*mart..
Cleans it so well and leaves such a shine.

Hey Joella, do you think that Weiman Glass Stove Top cleaner would do windows. I don't care how much I try, I've tried peroxide and alcohol, (not the kind you drink :) and still end up with a yucky film on my windows, when the sun shines on them. Kind of defeats the purpose of washing them right?? Any suggestions, besides maybe trying the Stove Glass top cleaners, that has me curious for sure. Thanks Cillie Happiness is living your best dreams and God answering your prayers!!!

It would be worth a try, Cillie... Do a small section, no sense wasting your time on a whole window, if it's not going to work.. I'm a preventive housekeeper.....not a crazy lady!!! Ha!
Funny you should ask though, I was thinking a short while ago about trying that stove top cleaner on my shower doors. Probably wouldn't hurt to try as it doesn't scratch the glass.. Joella

have you used those cloths for the window golly what are they called. Microfiber cloths use one to put the water on with (yes water) use the other to wipe it off. Works really well Snowball

Snowball, I have some of those microfiber cloths, love them and highly recommend them. They don't work on removing soap scum tho'! :(
Marysdream PM'd me about some cleaner to remove soap scum, but I have to find it first, in order to try it.. Happy Day! Joella

You know last time I did my windows I attached some of those clothes to the Swisher Mop and they did help. I am still going to put that stove top cleaner on the list though, as that must be some good stuff to bring out the shine. Thanks for the reminder Snowball....these brain cells of mine seem to ooze out the ears more then stay in.... Cillie Happiness is living your best dreams and God answering your prayers!!!
