Fixin to go camping this weekend (F-M) with my sister, her hubby, my neice and her hubby and a bunch of his family, and of course Dad and the 2 dogs. I wish the GD were available, but she is on vacation with her mother this week. We are going to Pocahontas State Park in Virginia. I've never been there, so will let anyone who is interested know how it is after we get back. I'm excited about it, as I am with any and every trip I get to take in the MH.
Any of you other "weekend warriors" out there have plans for the weekend? You full timers are always on vacation, but feel free to pipe in!

Hey Jenny you still working hard down in Moscow? Now we know why they named it Moscow. ;)Work work work
Will you take sometime to vacation when you leave there? I know you can't be in a hurry to get back to Arizona until fall hits, I would think.

We leave on Sat 15th and head to Pasco WA, catch up with family for a family get-together in Richland. Need repairs to the motorhome on Mon 17th and will decide after Monday where we go next. Would like some camp time with one of my Sisters.
We don't plan too far ahead because we end up changing plans anyway....but we intend on having some fun relaxing days after Moscow. My job is over there so I have been goofing off :)

Glad to hear you are wrapped up and heading down the road soon Jenny.I wish I were in the situation to say we can't make plans as we keep changing them as we go down the road.
Hey apackof2 thought I'd share my ideas of a bicycle. Now I must add I am very lazy when pedaling a bike and thought this was the perfect solution for me (SMILE)

Make sure you tap on it for a full shot.
I found this site looking for small motor scooters and this guy sells these bikes or you can buy the motor kit for $200 which my DH and I are seriously thinking about doing and attaching them to our 26" mountain bikes. The only pedaling you have to do is to kick the engine in....and it gets 150MPG and speeds up to 40MPH, probably down hill, ha ha.
Thought it was a kick though and would be easy to load on the RV for us when the time comes.

We were very lucky that DH started his job at 22 and he could retire at any age after 30 yrs and he has one of the best retirement( Pers 1) so he retired at 52. With my job in Nursing there was no way I could go all over the county from the campgrounds so I just quit mine. Unfortunatly I did not have a pension with my various Nursing jobs, so I spend his :)

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that we had a great weekend (even though is was really HOT and HUMID). Pocahontas State Park is a nice place for camping. Very large campground area, wooded, and all sites have electric and water. They have a very nice dump station, and the swimming facility was huge and very kid/family oriented!
Hope you all had good weekends too. Now I'm back at work playing "catchup"!
