I don't travel with any plants. But my neighbor came up with her shower filled - to the point that it wasn't usable till she got parked here :) - can do that when you're staying for months. Since I move around so much - I couldn't do more than a couple tiny ones - and my green thumb never was! Might get a silk one.
Smiling is contagious - try it!

Another sunny & hot day. Got my long cast off and a short cast on --today -- three more weeks of a hard cast.
I survived 30 years of law enforcement and tripped over my 20 lb. dog. And yes I was sober.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Happy trails.--Can't wait to get back on the road.

Lots of plants in my fifth wheel. Mostly real ones, except for silk ones in dark spots and the ones on top of the kitchen cabinets. Then there are the real ones out on the patio...and hanging from the awning....my shower and all my sinks are FULL when we travel!
Everyone says "My, you have such a green thumb! Your plants always look so nice." That's because when they get to looking a little sad, I just REPLACE them! Usually with ones from Lowes or WalMart. Not expensive. And the changes are nice since I can't move my furniture around all that much.....new pillows, placemats, and plants make everything seem fresh again. I also have rotating tchotkhes (sp?), mostly small things I have had for years that make it all "home" to me.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all!

I have one... a pathos(ivy) in a wooden twig wishing well holder. Was a gift, and it goes with us, rest are put in the flowerbeds with automatic sprinkler to take care of them till we return.

Anybody carry a good luck charm in their travels? The very first time I went camping, all by my widowed self in a little dome tent, I took along a little corn husk duck that I had bought at a yard sale to decorate my picnic table. I always took him along camping. And then, when I met Don and we went camping, the duck went along, too. Finally, I thought that perhaps I would take along something else to grace our camp table and left the duck at home. That trip I fell and broke my leg!!!! The duck hasn't missed a trip since and is now perched front and center on the shelf over my back window. I wouldn't dream of traveling without that duck!

No room for plants in my RT, and I'd just kill 'em anyway. (Sure wouldn't be a good luck charm.) I used to save & carry things I'd found along the way...wild turkey feathers, a pretty stone. Have moved all those things into the stick house, although still like to collect them. I guess the RT is my good luck charm. It always makes me happy to be in it and off on a new adventure.
