Susan-Y...Don't tell me about people being sticklers about native and transplants!!!.... Daddy once heard locals here in Texas talking when our Mayor was running for office again and had opposition... they said THIS time we need a "hometown boy" for Mayor. Daddy asked what they considered "home town, Our Mayor has been in office for FORTY YEARS!!! ???

well, i'm married (29 years and counting) to Steve, we've got 1 son age 20 in college, 1 daughter married to our "2nd son", and one more lovely 6 month old grand daughter. There is also one very old (13) boston terrier, mugsey, who can't hear or see but loves to camp. We are in a class a damon intruder. it's like heaven to us! We have had too many tents to count, 3 or 4 popups, 2 travel trailers, and 2 other motor homes in our 29 years so i guess we are somewhat seasoned. I still work parttime and Steve full but we live for the day to have time for long journeys. Our daughter and "son" will spend time in lots of places since he is active army and plans to make a career. Hope to "go visit" lots of places and of course see our grands. Lovin this site! never done a thing like this either. Laura Laura

Sounds sort of like our run-down with RV's, but we never had popups. Don't really remember how many trailers.. 1 5th wheel, 4 motorhomes and are back in a trailer now. We are retired, but not a full-timer. Dreaming and planning toward retirement is a fun goal!! We also spent a lot of our travel/camping times with motorcycles and tents. Threw in some boats and teaching kids to ski. Camping with that too. We are outdoors people. Have a son and a daughter. Grands..and we have a 15 year old recently deaf dauchshund..Fancy who is BOSS around here.
LOVE traveling and doing it in an RV suits us best!!!
I have been on sewing/quilting and Gardening Forums, but this is my favorite..
Happy Travels...keep in touch!! :)
