Well Snowball can I ever relate to the 15 years behind the five year plan. SMILE! Though DH and I thought we would stay up here in Idaho until we noticed each winter our health and depressions going in a negative direction. That is why we want to sell and get on the road to see if that puts some spring back in our hearts and steps. The work we have done here, as about left us less then perky. I'm glad you got to zoom in and enjoy the photos. I think any photos that are shared are just a window into that person's life. So wish we could get more interested parties here to share. Anyway thought you might all appreciate a before and after shot of our cabin. So here comes. And the funny part most of the work has been done on the inside, but that is always harder to photograph. These outside shots tell a lot I think. Image hosted by Webshots.com

You certainly did a lot of work. Your cabin would just fit into Jackson in looks. I need to figure out how to post photos I don't paint. My hustand does that. But I enjoy crocheting, make afghans for neices and nephews when they get married. I go to a doll class once and week and we do figurines and make porceilin dolls. Will be gone for awhile (although I will be able to get on ethe internet). My daughter is expecting twins and grandma just seems to think she will need help. Right now they are breech so she is looking at a c-section and her husband leaves for guard camp on the 4th of Aug. They are due the 13th we are really hoping that they can come early. But when I get back to my computer I will try and post a picture of an afghan. Have a great day snowball

Snowball, how wonderful you have twins due. Both mine and DH family have twins in the background and when our son told us they were expecting and asked what I thought... I told him it was wonderful and I thought they should have twins!!
The Dr. said it didn't work "that way"... the twins in the family had to come from the mother's side of the family. Our son and wife had twin daughters 19 years ago. One is red-headed. Funny thing, in my family my maternal grandfather and all his nine brothers and sisters were ALL red headed and there was not another one born till son's little girl 3 generations down the line!!
You going to run up two little baby afghans right quick like for those new babies? Grin! OF COURSE you have to be there to help!!!
Making those porcelain dolls is an art unto itself! I have grandma and grandpa.. DH bought them for me for Christmas years ago. I'll include a photo of them later. Will have to take one.
Would love to see a photo of your afghans!
Enjoy your day! Joella

Here's the photo of Grandma and Grandpa, DH gifted me with on Christmas one year. Later, we bought the two little dauschunds as we had two at the time. They are an exact "fit" to the "old folks".
