[[[[[[Hidy,Pat! Good you are going to enjoy the dog event in Del Mar. How was the dog performance last month? Did y'all do that to raise funds for the Living Free Animal Shelter in Mountain Center?

It was good, but we were expecting cooler weather since it was up in the mountains. We used to do a lot of shelter events for free, but with the price of gas now we have to charge at least a minimal amount so it's not costing us money for gas. I ended up staying at Lake Hemet cus that's where another performer was staying. When I left there Sunday it was in the mid-90's, course it was 100+ at home.

I'll head for Hutchinson, Ks. the last of Sept. and then hope to make the balloon festival in New Mexico then back home.(The red Grannie Bloomers are going to Ks.) Christmas will be in Illinois then some time next Spring, I hope to go to Florida for a month and to the Groovin Grannie GTG. there--wherever and whenever it is!! LOL

I just recently found this forum. I'm in the "research" phase, reading everything I can about the FT lifestyle. Hubby & I will sell our house before going on the road, so we're looking at all our stuff & planning the 1st garage sale. We are weekend campers now.

Well, don't know if I count in this group.. but I'm home in Pa.. till Jan ..when I head back to Florida..for 4 months.. our plans had changed since I got back home as we were going to head to MS for 3 weeks..but being Zeke had surgery hubby will fly down to be with his kin folks.. His brother is terminally ill and every day is so important for the family..
Hopefully the GTG will be close enough and I'll be able to attend.. it ought to be a great time for sure.. Can't wait to catch them bloomers flying in the breeze...LOL and hear that new Chant..
Then Lord willin after I leave Florida I'll head up thru LA and MS on my way back swing thru TN and up 81 home..love to change my route and get to visit my family and friends.. That's what's on my agenda..;;;
Other than starting Monday we start Zeke on his therapy .. pool time.. which ought to feel good too both to me and him..
God Bless Barbzeee Life is full of surprises, just go with the flow !

I'm a part-time full-timer. Don't know how else to explain it. I have no 9-5 job - left it over a year ago to do this - but I do have my internet businesses to help with my costs, and I workamp also - in New Hampsire this summer. I don't know if I'll workamp this winter or go back and visit my friend in bama again - I know I'll go to bama for a visit - but whether I stay for the winter or not, don't know yet. Smiling is contagious - try it!
