Good Morning All...aaaah yes, Friday.. the weekend is rolling in.. such good news reading this morning..
Froggi..is on her way to Full Timing..sure is great and I know she's bubbling inside...now to see those pictures coming..:)
Fernie is still venturing out there.. and enjoying her trip..seeing family and friends..

Beth is venturing to new avenues..exciting areas..
Mary's starting her new job Workamping ...!!!!
Sharon.. well we are anxiously awaiting her new pictures and on that wonderful trip in Alaska..mmmm wondering if she's panning for gold LOL... Hey Sharon!!!!
Well, last night we had a really bad storm come rolling in... lost power and boy that lightning was flashing big time.. My bed was filled with the Critters .. all of us snuggled together.. That bang of thunder wow.. for all those that love to see that awesome lightning I'm sure it would have made your evening... but for me.. well...let's just say.. I was glad it moved through....real fast LOL...
Today we are to get more rain..although much needed..
It's time I get on with feeding my group here and then make my visit to my Dentist..boy that's gonna be thrilling..eeewwwwww...LOL

Good Morning Barbizee
Awoke to gorgeous morning today. Mist on the mountains, sun coming up and birds singing. Temp is 48 and I'm loving it.
Some of the worst thunderstorms I've seen have been in Phillie area - they even outdue Fl. Did your electric come back on?
You must have a BIG bed for the whole family to share it. Dakota will jump on the bed during a storm too. He just lays there, breathes fast and trembles - feel bad for him.
Yesterday afternoon was neat - no work to do so I rode through the woods on the golf cart we use and got to know the place. Motor is silent and it was a fun experience. Today there may be actual work to do but there is twice as many on so will probably get it done fast.
Enjoy your day - how did the baked potato soup turn out?

Mary, I'd like that job riding those golf carts.. I'm great about parking those rigs.. I can almost do it with one eye opened LOL...
Oh that soup was delicious! I will post it today ..Promise.. I have to go to the darling Dentist.. lost a filling.. so I feel he'll be drilling for oil ..ugh !!!
Power was off for about an hour.. and Yep, I have a super duper King size bed..LOL needed it.. LOL

Mary, I take it that means the job wasn't hard the first day? Glad to hear you were able to ride around and really find the way around.
I haven't tried your potato recipe yet Barb - but sure have been enjoying the crockpot recipes of yours I have cooked and portioned into my freezer! Had some of the chicken chow mein this week.. Yummy. And I love the pepperoncini beef - is one of my favs.
OK, I'm headed back to my own cg today - gonna stop and see if I can give some money to Wally World on the way :) Take care all.

:quest:Hello every one, yes it is friday, I know lot of you look forward to the end of the week, not me, I miss mt DH for we spent the whole weekend together, now I spend it trying to find something to do. Sorry I dont mean to be a pain in the butt, just a little depressed today. have a safe weekend.

Well, no work to do today again (campground almost empty and 3 of us working). I volunteered to paint two big doors that were down to bare wood. Like painting and wanted to do Something productive.
Well, 6 hours later I finished. The doors look good but I am totalled!!
I will think four times before volunteering again. :)
I could have been riding around in the golf cart instead! Have to control those impulses.
After work - took a ride into Lake Placid around Mirror Lake. Very pretty and nice to unwind. Really enjoying the other workampers and it does feel good to have a home base.
Do you work with other kampers?
