Beth what a lovely campground!! I could see me spending a few months there!! The campsites look large and private. I guess that is the porch you mention sitting on when you work on the computer? Just looks wonderful!!!

You'll all laugh - but the tent/pop-up sites are even more private than the rv/trailer sites. But I do love it here. And I knew coming in that I'd be without phone service and no tv, etc - I wanted this type of environment.

Mary, let me know if you get the job and I'll then look into coming for a few days. And if you head this way, the rates here are similar to those - with no discounts. I think he said something about my friends - so let met know in advance, maybe I'd be able to get you a discount to visit me?
This coming week, I'm leaving for 3 or 4 days to drive around the White Mountains - around, through, etc - pick out places to go back to possibly. I'm holding off on doing the ME coast till after Labor Day - when the crowds will go away - but will be heading to NY, CT, VT, etc during some weeks. Others will just be hanging out here in the peace and quiet.
You can all laugh at me. I sat on the porch last night on my computer till after it got dark out. Realized I hadn't brought a flashlight - had to walk back to the site in pitch black - and I mean black! Since it was cloudy, there was no light peeking through! Smiling is contagious - try it!
