Good Morning All...Yes ! It's Friday and Thank Gawd !!...Why is it we are so happy the weekend is here and then when it gets there it's gone ???? LOL Anyway, I'm so happy as my DH will be home and I will have leave time LOL... I'll get to go sit out in the motor home and pretend I'm some place else..alright .. Ya just gotta love it !!....
Zeke is doing great and we are all getting sleep..he is being so good about putting the collar on at night.. This way he can't get at those (they got to be itching) staples.. and oh my come on Wednesday
that's the day they come off ...Yeah !! WE'll have to celebrate for sure.. but then of course comes therapy.. that's not bad..at least he gets in the pool and so do I... that will feel good to both of us..:)
It's gonna be a rainy day..but you know what we sure needed it.. my plants (which by the way are still in pots) need a good drink..and hopefully I'll get to put them where they belong.. aaaaah I have lots of plans..hahaha..
Hope you all get to get away even just for a couple of days..and that your roads ahead won't be too bumpy..

Good Morning to you,
Today is the first day of my vacation from teaching school. Yahoo!!!!
Just wanted to tell you I would love to see all these plants when you get them planted. So how about a picture of your flower beds when you get them up and going?
DH and I will be going to visit with our two Grandsons in about 6 days. We are going to meet in Jasper, Arkansas and spend a week at a cg there. I can't wait. It has been 11 months since we saw them and they grow so fast.
How old is Zeke? We have a min. poodle named Sugarlump who is going to be 15 her birthday in September. You know someone who doesn't have dogs has no idea of the love and peace that they can give you.
Will be pulling for Zeke when he has his staples out that it won't bother him too bad.
Love your daily get up perks, can't wait to get coffee and check here each day before heading off to work. Keep it up.

Guess it must be really early, I forgot the most important thing to share with all of you.
My daughter, Candace, is graduating from LSU's School of Paralegal Studies today. We finally have liftoff!!!! She is 25 and still lives at home. She is one of those who took a while to find something that she wanted enough to go after it, but that day finally got here. I can't tell all of you how excited I am and how proud of her I am. She worked full time all the time she was going after this and maintained a 3.4.

Good morning ya'll from Illinois. It is going to be hot and humid today. Air isn't on yet but it will be.
Congrats Marslet to all of you on your daughter's graduation. Have a safe trip and a fun time visiting with your family.
Barbzeee--enjoy sitting in your motorhome and doing all your little things you want to get done!! I'm sure DH will take good care of Zeke while you are puttering around!! :)

Good Morning to all of you from Lake Placid!!! One of the best things about RVing is waking up to no noise but birds singing!
Glad Zeke is finally on the mend and you all are settling back to a normal schedule Barbizee. It was his good nursing care that did it.
Marlets - my german shepherd Dakota is 11. He is a wonderful old friend and does bring me a lot of love and companionship. Was in Ikea the other day(love that store) and bought him a sheepskin to sleep on in the RV. He immediately claimed it and knew it was for him!!!
Fernie - glad you are out there in your MH. Hope you are having a great time. It's warm here but not uncomfortable. Hope I don't need AC as I love windows open.

Good Morning (not quite noon yet) from Wentworth, NH - was an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday. Chance of a wandering thunderstorm today, but supposed to be a nice weekend.
Other than some ticks - which, luckily, fall right off the dogs - thank God for Frontline - we are enjoying every moment. I've been doing lots of walking and reading - not getting the work I need to done on my websites - need to find time for them - as without them I can't be here!
I took a couple pictures of the cg yesterday - will go to photobucket in a bit and see about downsizing some of them to show you all.
Marslet, congrats to your daughter.
Marysdream - yep, got to love those birds. I'm sitting here now watching a couple hummingbirds at a feeder here - unfortunately they don't like my camera - but I'll keep trying!

Marslet, I know you are proud of your daughter's accomplishments, and her grade while doing it!! Enjoy those grandsons when you see them in a few days!! Good they "let you out of school"for the summer! ENJOY!! Our Fancy, a dachshund turned 15 last on the 17th of this month...still in good health, but slowing down...just like me!!! :)
Mary, I like Ikea too!! Have some marvelous storage items there! Did you find anything to cover your passenger seat base with? What have you worked out on that? I know you are enjoying Lake Placid!! Great full-timing is such a marvelous,relaxing, non stressful life for you!!!
Beth, your campground sounds SO peaceful and "country". Be glad to see the posted photos shortly. Enjoy the day!! Work on those websites, we don't wish you having to leave there!!! ha! I like hummingbirds, but don't get too many here at our place and when we do, they are travelin' thru, and here for only a spell...sort of like full-timers!! yes??

Jomit - I put the sheepskin on the passenger area for now. Found an air mattress (didn't buy it yet) at Walmart that will fit lengthwise into that space if my sister, cousin or son join me for a visit this summer. Ikea is really wonderful - all natural (wool and cotton products for the most part) inexpensive storage, I agree. Not buying for the house anymore but the old kneejerk reaction was there :)Did see a large storage unit with a cushioned top that I considered but it was on heavy side and decided against it. Just bought an outdoor rug and sheepskin and fortunately I'm no longer in vicinity or I would go back.
Bethers saw Wentworth on the map and hopefully will be going through there at some time this summer. Will be sure to stop in and see you. Let me know if you want to come over this way. It truly is gorgeous and doesn't look too far away from where you are.
Am going to apply to workamp here for a month if they will accept that. They don't have hummingbirds but saw some red wing blackbirds.
Idea of ticks scares me as I did have Lyme disease. Awful,took them about 6 mos to diagnose but curable. I felt so good when I was finally over it, it was almost worth having. Made me appreciate feeling good!!! I use Frontline too so hope if they get on D they will "fall off".
Did anyone read "Marley and Me" yet? It's a must for all dog lovers.
This cg is pretty neat. At each site. they have a thick picture frame made of bark hanging from a reachable branch by two small ropes. It's large enough to put a lantern to light table at night. Am going to try it tonight to see what it looks like.

Good day ladies. Not only is it Friday, it's a holiday weekend. I pretty much like to stay close to home since I'm in SoCal and traffic is crazy under normal circumstances; let's not even talk about holidays.
I am going to drive up to the mountain and check out campgrounds near the Idyllwild area. Our dog performance group (www.muttleycrew.net) is performing for the Living Free Animal Shelter in Mountain Center next Saturday, so I thought will I'm up the mountain I might as well make a weekend out of it.
Also just looking for local places to go until my pay check catches up with the price of gas. ;p
