We have found the rain in Bend Oregon, groan...do not want to grow webbed feet ..AGAIN!
Heading to Elbe WA next on Tues and then Westport Friday to party up at a friends private campground. Then we will sing around the campfire, dance, play cards and Peggy and I will hit EVERY house that has a garage sale! Making a mental note...Something new comes in...something old has to go! Groan!! Hate that rule..but it helps to keep me from being a pack rat ;p

Hope everyone is having a great day today. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
We've had a very busy and productive day. Makes for that good kind of tired. We are getting ready to pull out Tuesday around noon, hopefully. We are heading to Amarillo TX for the Memorial holiday weekend, then on to the four corners region of Colorado. Is anyone here going to be near either place?
Paulette, you mentioned the Cingular air card. Do you have the Sierra card? I bought one and so far I'm very pleased with it. They said it would work anywhere Cingular services. Before I got the card I was going to libraries and we also tried to camp where they offered wifi. This is great, I get the quiet of camping with a connection to the world. :)
Happy camping! Karon

Jomit - absolutely stress is less and attitude is improving! I think it is because of the freedom. If you don't like the view, you change your location - no traps and little responsibilities.
Ran into a toll booth situation last week. They looked at my rv and said $7.50 - it's a MH. I remembered something someone posted about being careful at tolls as they would sometimes overcharge(have a small rv). Even after I showed the vehicle weight on the title, they insisted. I was going to airport so didn't have time to take it further but felt they were wrong. Anybody else have this situation?

Yep I Do! I was charged by the axle when going through Mexico so everyone else paid for 2 axles and I paid for 3 axles because my Tropi-Cal had a tag axle. Boy did I have to use the ATM machines alot!!

Mary, I think more freedom from stress is wonderful! I have heard others say this about full-timing as well. Also have heard comments about may as well be traveling and enjoying doing what we wish to, as if we stay home, family only comes over IF they want something! This is sad. Coming from a large, close family, I just feel for those who "don't have it"..
Going to be a busy week around here. I traveled and had fun for two weeks, now it's time to pay the piper around here and catch up on house and yard...
Full timers don't have that either.. Grin.. I do have to add that I like to work outside...but WEEDING is not one of my favorite pastimes!!
Continue on enjoying Mary...I LOVE reading that vein of postings!!!
